PRACTICE ORGAN: With the benefit our new CNC facility we are advancing our plans to produce an economically priced small practice organ with one stop for each manual. More details in due course.

"England's Thousand Best Churches" is the title of the magnificent new book by Simon Jenkins published by Allen Lane, The Penguin Press. Featured on page 434 is a full page picture of the West End of St Paul's Church, Harringay with our organ centre stage on the gallery. St Paul's is the only modern church featured in this book. At a quick count we have been associated with the organs in a further 35 of these 1000 churches.

Concerts:

March 15th 7.30 pm St Botolph Trunch, Norfolk.

Richard Bower plays the Georgian organ, rebuilt by Williamson & Hyatt as a one manual with full pedalboard, maintained by Bower & Company. Concert includes Handel organ concerti with parish String quartet.

Recent work:

Please see our new organs and overhauls pages for details of our new and restored instruments at Brasenose College, Oxford; Cley Parish Church, St. Martin's Church, Overstrand and Ipswich Roman Catholic church.

The recent aquisition of "Orgamat" has transformed
our service. Richard Bower nows carries out much of the tuning work using this device which facilitates tuning without a skilled assistant. The use of "Orgamat" has proved its worth in improving the quality of the tuning by increased efficiency and also greatly improved the practicality of carrying out sensitive voicing and regulation work.
