About to be completed is the restoration of the Chamber
organ from Gooderstone parish church, Norfolk. This fine anonymous
organ, formerly attributed to Elliott, is likely to have been made by
Bishop in 1830's . Restoration work has included casework restoration,
re-gilding the facade in real gold leaf, as well as soundboard, bellows,
action and tonal restoration.
Pending installation once work on the church fabric is complete - is
the reconstruction and enlargement of the two manual organ at St Mary's
Cley, in North Norfolk.
At St Augustine's Church, Wisbech we are to reconstruct the
Forster & Andrews organ into a more comprehensive instrument.
We are retaining and recompleting the F & A scheme and adding a
larger pedal organ in its own case, a copy of the existing case to be
placed to its East. The key and pedal action is to be mechanical.
